Determined to be a veterinarian, Dr. Jennifer Hall earned a Bachelor's degree in 3 years as number one in her class and was accepted into the first class at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Hall entered private practice. Prior to VCA, she worked during the day and was on call for night emergency duty at Middleburg Animal Hospital in Virigina. She has devoted her veterinary profession to VCA Herndon Reston since 1987 and plans to continue to do so. She strives to provide quality care during all phases of a patient's life through compassion, experience, and knowledge. Over the years, she has had the privilege and pleasure of establishing long term relationships with clients, their pets and the staff. Sadly. for the first time, Dr. Hall has an empty nest. Being blessed with many creatures both great and small from her first childhood pet, Myrtle: the turlle, to the most recent loss of her elderly cat, Petunia (Tuna Fish) and Sabrina, a feline sweetheart, who passed too young from cancer. Thier fond memories live on! As a single parent, Dr. Hall enjoys spending time with her daughter who is growing up too fast. Gardening and nature bring Dr. Hall peace. Academy of Veterinary Medicine for continuing education.

  • Kathleen McCadden

    DVM

Welcome, my name is Dr. Kathleen McCadden. Prior to joining the VCA Herndon Reston team in May 2012, I was a relief associate veterinarian for various small animal practices in Vermont, Virginia and Maryland. My interests are in chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture with small and large animals. I have a love for all animals especially our geriatric patients and strive to provide them with a medical enhancement to the wonderful western veterinary medicine that they already receive her at VCA Herndon Reston. My goal is to enhance our patient's quality of life by providing hope, compassion and enhanced medical support to traditional treatments. If you were to ask me WHY I joined the veterinary profession, I would say "I love to help animals live longer healthier lives and enjoy the smiles it provides to the people that love them!". A few things that you may not know about me:. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I love the Siberian Husky breed and the hound family. I love to hike, camp, kayak, swim and photography. I aspire to travel and explore new places. I love snow!!!. Prior to VCA, Dr. McCadden was a research assistant for the University of Maryland. Dr. Cara Toscano received her a B.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Biology-Life Sciences from the University of Findlay in Ohio. She then attended The Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario to earn her DVM. She is interested in general practice, community outreach, and wildlife/zoological medicine. If you were to ask Dr. Toscano WHY she chose the veterinary profession she would say, "I became a veterinarian because.. in high school I was fascinated when we would dissect frogs in biology class.
