Mrs Abha
Abha is originally from Bombay (now Mumbai), India where she obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from University of Mumbai. She then came to the US to obtain for a Master’s degree from George Washington University in DC. She is married to Bhushan who is the co-owner of the school and together they have 2 lovely children. Abha has been in the teaching profession for the past 11 years in various capacities. She has a passion for working with children and firmly believes in the philosophy that each child is unique in his or her own ways and the curriculum should be personalized to match their uniqueness. That belief resonates with the Goddard philosophy. Her Vision for the school: ‘At Goddard, we create a safe environment which fosters curiosity, confidence and empathy within the children. The positive Foundation will instill a passion for lifelong learning.’

Ms Marilynn
Ms. Marilynn is our Center Director at The Goddard School of Herndon. She brings to us over 10 years of experience within Early Childhood Education. She graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 2012. Shortly, after graduating she moved to the Nothern Virginia area and has now made it home for her new family. She is married and together they have one daughter, McKenzie who attends The Goddard School. Ms. Marilynn is able to see the school through two different lenses, as a parent, and as a leader. Ms. Marilynn believes a great leader should always be able to see situations in different aspects. Ms. Marilynn loves being able to help provide exceptional care to all students on a daily basis.

Ms Padmini
Ms. Padmini is our new Assistant Director at The Goddard School of Herndon. She has a bachelor's degree in Engineering and holds more than 5+ years of experience working in an Early Childhood setting. Ms. Padmini was awarded "Teacher of The Year" in 2020. Her teaching philosophy includes the greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say, ‘The children are now working as if I do not exist’. We are proud to have Ms. Padmini be a part of our school.

Ms Brittani
Ms. Brittani is the Lead- Teacher in our Infant Program. She is a native to the Dulles area where she has two children of her own. Ms. Brittani became a teacher after spending time raising her own children. She developed such a passion for watching young minds grow, so she further her education to obtain her CDA credentials and studied Early Childhood Development. Ms. Brittani has been teaching for over 10 years now, and absolutely loves it!

Ms Leyra
Ms. Leyra has a very diverse educational background. She has worked in the following settings: Montessori, Private, and Public School settings. Ms. Leyra enjoys working with our preschool students. She really loves teaching Spanish and it warms her heart to see her students pick up the language so fast.

Ms Rita
Ms. Rita Sharma is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom. Ms. Rita came to the U.S. in 1983 after marrying a humble IT professional. She has been blessed with two great sons,are now MDs as well as their spouses. Above all she is now a proud grandmother of a sweet little girl. Ms. Rita holds a degree in Psychology, CDA, and has taken courses to enhance her skill set such as Children and Adolescents, Infants/ Toddlers Curriculum/ Development Teaching etc. at Northern VA Community College. Ms. Rita brings to us over 30 years of experience working with children (1-12). Ms. Rita is privileged to be part of each young one’s life. She strongly believes children blossom and learn through play while in a safe and comfortable environment. I strive to teach my students early academics but also social, motor, adaptive skills and discoveries. Ms. Rita is a loving, caring, honest, and hard-working person. She enjoys nature, dance, cooking, art, reading, and organizing.

Ms Shannon
Ms. Shannon is the Pre-K Lead Teacher. She has been with The Goddard School of Herndon for over one year now. She brings to us over six years of pre-kindergarten experience. Ms. Shannon has been working in child care for more than 20 years. She has even worked with all ages from 0-12 years. Ms. Shannon enjoys working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new. This definitely makes teaching so rewarding. She is currently working on furthering her education by getting her CDA.

Ms Priyanka
Ms. Priyanka is the assistant teacher in our Early Preschool classroom. Ms. Priyanka has a bachelor's and master's degree in Art. She also has a Childhood Education associate degree. She enjoys doing fun learning activities with the students and keeping them engaged. Ms. Priyanka values each child's interests, strengths, skills, and knowledge to extend their learning abilities. We are delighted to have Ms. Priyanka here at Goddard School.

Ms Inderjeet
Ms. Inderjeet is one of our Resource Teachers who assists in our classrooms. Ms. Inderjeet has over 3 years of experience educating preschool children. She plans on going back to school for a degree in Early Childhood Education, while working in the field. Ms. Inderjeet believes that all children are equal and special in their own way and that children are a joy to be around.

Ms Javeria
Ms. Javeria is an Assistant Teacher in our Infant Program. She is from Karachi, Pakistan. In Pakistan she enjoyed her beautiful and lovely childhood. She's has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Eastern and Medical Science from Hamdard University KHI, PK. She has been teaching and taking care of infants and toddlers for over 6 years. She really enjoys her cherished time spent in her home country and spending quality time with her children. Ms. Javeria recently moved to Virginia last year. She decided to pursue teaching in the US as well. She has two lovely children of her own so teaching comes natural to her.

Leslie Michelle
Ms. Michelle is a floater teacher at The Goddard School. She is currently in school to obtain her Associate Degree in Dental Assistanting at ECPI University. She plans to work at a Pediatric Dental Office upon graduating. She decided to join The Goddard School to work with kids to gain experience. She absolutely loves working with children because they bring a lot of happiness and joy to her day. Ms. Michelle is a loving and caring person and enjoys being around her family and friend. She also enjoys traveling.

Ms. Mahwish has been working with children for almost three years. She loves devoting her time to our students. Ms. Mahwish is a school aid and help. She has two kids of her own and then grew a passion for wanting to work with children. She enjoys having to work with a team and loves to provide help for little minds!
